Eggtography

The Manchester Egg is a new pub snack phenomenon, developed by esteemed local Ben Holden, who decided that the traditional scotch egg was lacking a little Mancunian-ness. While chomping on a pickled egg in his favourite local pub, he had a brainwave: Let's put a pickled egg in a sausage and black-pudding coating, and wrap it in breadcrumb. The legend was born.

The mighty egg is proving incredibly popular and is now available in two locations in Manchester. Soup Kitchen on Spear Street and the Castle Hotel on Oldham Street. We're looking at securing more retailers over the coming months, so please get in touch if you are interested in stocking some of these rarified delicacies.
